Warmth from our house to yours for over 25 years!


Started in 1988 by local a Astorian under the name Columbia Pacific Housewarmers, it was part stove shop and part heating oil delivery service. The business was sold to another local Astorian, Peter Schauermann in 2002. In the late 90's Peter was learning the trade as a HVAC and Gas Fireplace installer at another local shop in Astoria. He made a big change in 2002 when he bought the company we now know as Columbia Housewarmers and kept part of the original name. Since then, Columbia Housewarmers, in Astoria Oregon, has been adding warmth to the homes and hearts of

Clatsop and Pacific Counties. 


We hope our rich local history will someday extend heat and warmth to you and your loved ones.


Stove Shop experts

When Peter took the helm of Columbia Housewarmers, it was primarily a stove shop, selling most of the wood and pellet stoves in the Astoria, OR and surrounding areas. Almost two decades later we continue to be the leading stove dealer from Cannon Beach and Seaside all the way up to Long Beach WA and Pacific County.


One factor that sets Columbia Housewarmers apart, is our deep commitment to our community. When Peter came in, his extensive furnace knowledge was an immediate plus for the company, and he has grown the company into a one stop shop for all things warm! We have one technician who is THE expert on oil stoves and pellet stoves, and he probably installed one on your street in the last 20 years! Another technician specializes on electric furnaces and chimney sweeps and maintenance. Peter also brings an incredible knowledge on the installation and service of heat pump heating solutions.
